I'm so proud of Shannon for doing the marathon with school this year. The kids have been running/walking and keeping track of their miles for the last couple of months. They kept track right up to 25 miles and then yesterday they all met up in Cardston to complete the final mile together. It was fantastic to see, there were over 800 participants, the largest kids marathon in the province. 
I'm especially proud of Shannon as (putting it as nice as I can) she's not the most athletic in the family, but she will give it her all. She loves the social part of everything - which is what keeps her playing sports. She makes a GREAT cheerleader and will always stop to help those who are struggling - she's not at all worried about coming in last place which is admirable (not at all like
