They did warn us in the hospital that day 2 would be worse for Aylish than day 2......not sure why they keep them there when their throats are frozen and send them home for their 'worse day' with some tylenol and codeine......hmmm......I'm still wondering......
She tried so hard to eat and drink - here's lunch:
And then lunch went in the fridge, completely untouched.
Not taking any fluids and fighting mommy with meds, she starts to deteriorate. Worry sets in.
Night 2 - Fell asleep at 9, meds at 11pm. 3am fever of 103.4F and shakes. Very scary. Mom stays up holding her while dad wakes every half hour to cool the cloth on her forehead. Mom falls back asleep from 6:30 till 7 when alarm rings to get kids to school.
